Identify the organisation and process risk variables in construction. Differentiate management strategies for each of the principle roles in the construction process. Formulate a project procurement strategy in response to National improvement strategies. Establish organizational structures and management systems to enable productive construction. Relate theoretical knowledge of project and site management to contemporary practice. |

Outline content:
The development of procurement strategies, risk analysis and risk registers. The philosophy and practice of professional CM Client management, design management, specialist trade contractor management. Introducing new techniques as a means of improving practice. Control systems, information systems and context of project management strategy. Current practice in structuring and organizing the design and construction processes. |
