Aims:
To provide the knowledge and understanding necessary to examine various contractor procurement systems and documentation and to prepare Bills of Quantity and use Standard Methods of taking off quantities, within a financial administration context. |

Assessment:
Coursework : Three assignments - one taking-off exercise, on Bill of Quantities preparation and one Final Account preparation. Relative percentage of coursework : 100% Penalties for late submission : There will be a deduction of 10% for any work submitted up to one week after the original deadline for submission. Thereafter a mark of zero will be recorded. Examinations : none Requirements for a pass : 40% Reassessment arrangements : Re-submission of failed assignment or assignments by the first day of September. |
