Aims:
To provide the knowledge and understanding of the specialised skills used in Pro-Engineering software for Engineering Design.

Assessable learning outcomes:
The learning of specialised skills in using Pro-Engineering software for Engineering Design.

Additional outcomes:
Key skills in use of IT.

Outline content:
Integrated CAD (20 hours tutorials/seminars Spring Term: Mr Preston):
Pro/E Wildfire technology applied to a number of Engineering Design Case studies.
Note that there is a minimum number of students required for this module to be run. The module is assessed entirely by means of Coursework.

Penalties for late submission:
There will be a deduction of 10% for any work submitted up to one week after the original deadline for submission. Thereafter a mark of zero will be recorded.

40% minimum.
Reassessment arrangements:
Resubmission by 1st September.
