Aims:
To provide the knowledge and skill to construct technical and architectural drawings including: Plans, Sections, Elevations, Building location drawings and Axonometric projections and to discriminate between reliable and unreliable information sources in order to produce accurate drawings.

Assessable learning outcomes:

  • Be able to rapidly construct reasoned arguments and present them orally to an audience.

    Building location drawings and Axonometric projections.

    One set of technical drawings - 50%
    One debate - 50%
    Relative percentage of coursework : 100%
    Penalties for late submission :
    For the set of technical drawings there will be a deduction of 10 marks (out of 100) for any work submitted up to one calendar week after the original deadline for submission. Thereafter a mark of zero will be recorded. .For the debate, a satisfactory reason must be given for non-attendance. If illness is the cause, a medical certificate or attendance at the Health Centre will be required.
