Aims:
The knowledge and understanding of a selection of key management tools, having a particular focus on project management tools will be developed to that they may be used to solve business or project related problems.

Assessable learning outcomes:
At the end of the module:

  • Students will have an introductory understanding of some key management tools, in particular project management tools.
  • Students will be able to relate the management tools to issues in their own work and life experiences.
  • Students will be able to use the management tools to solve simple business or project related problems.
  • Students will have a better understanding of how business, public sector organizations and the management of projects operate.
